Emotional Rescue

“Emotional Rescue” is a macrame project that evolved over five months during a time when a close family member was going through some serious health issues. The project gave me a place to channel the raw emotions I was experiencing while enduring the unknown about their condition. Every string and every knot was a transformation of those feelings into art.

Emotional Rescue’s foundation board is over 100 years old and came from a Pennsylvania farm house. The project was purchased by a Spiritual Retreat in Northern California. Emotional Rescue is unique in that it can be customized to include the colors of the Chakras for use at the retreat. Each of the photos below show different configurations of the piece.
